about
This is a very ironic song. First of all it took forever till I was happy with it, nitpicking away at my messy recording layers. Also it doesn't sound like I'm very happy haha. But its more of a relaxed happy. When I wrote it I was just happy to be relaxed, cause working in a kitchen is really intense sometimes. So a year and a half later, here is the finalized vision of the song, enjoy :)
lyrics
I'm happy, so happy, cause I am under sun,
I'm happy, so happy, cause I am one.
I'm happy, so happy, cause I gave up the fight,
I'm happy, so happy, cause war ain't right.
I walked right through the Ocean, I walked right through the sea. I feel the waves crash over me, and I said, "it's just begun."
I danced on crystal towers, then flew above the trees. I saw the Empire crumble down, it had no where else to flee.
It's okay though Empire, we don't want your world no more. You can have it and destroy it, there's another in store. There will always be more, for the poor.
I'm happy, so happy, cause i have air to breathe,
I'm happy, so happy, I let go of me, and now I see.
